Badegruber & Partner GmbH (Click&Learn) is a private company situated in Austria, founded in 1998. It employs 13 full-time employees and 6 freelancers. The company organisation is divided into the business segments ‘E-Learning & Online Communications’, ‘Training & Education Management’, ‘Placement Management’, and ‘Consulting & Innovation’.

Badegruber & Partner GmbH is an Austrian adult education centre specialised in e-learning. The core business of the company is e-learning and training. The company has - over the years - successfully completed many e-learning projects where it provided consultancy in e-learning, training and online communications and developed content for numerous clients, both SMEs and large-scale companies. It has been dealing with innovative methods of knowledge transfer and the conception and implementation of e-learning and knowledge solutions.

Badegruber & Partner GmbH are currently participating in national and transnational projects in e-learning: VEELAN-gC (INTERREG IIA-2004), DIOGENE (IST-2001-33358), DEALL (89775-CP-1-2001-Grundvig-G1).

The company has broad and practice-on experience in the following fields:
  • CONCEPTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF E-LEARNING AND ONLINE COMMUNICATIONS SOLUTIONS: We have experience in the conception and deployment of individual e-learning and online communications solutions where we combine both content, technology and service into our solutions with a high impact on pedagogic methods.
  • REQUIREMENTS IDENTIFICATION AND EVALUATION PLANNING: We have experience in the requirements definition and evaluation planning and are currently responsible for the evaluation of a distributed E-Learning solution within an ongoing EU Project (IST-2001-33358). As in the referred project we pay high interest in the evaluation of e-learning solutions deployed in an international and culturally differentiated environment.
  • TRAINING & E-LEARNING: We operate as a learning service provider where we offer blended learning solutions and have long experience in training where we use innovative methods of knowledge transfer for our internal and external training programmes. We have numerous contacts to SMEs and larger organisations.
During the eLISHE project B&P was responsible for analysing the current state of technology adoption and in particular eLearning adoption within the craft sectors in Austria, as well as the availability of eLearning related products and services for the crafts sector in Austria. B&P was also responsible with the other project partners for dissemination of eLISHE related results and supporting the University of Stuttgart in developing the methodology used for the collection and evaluation of relevant material.

IAT – Institute for Human Factors
and Technology Management

The Institute for Human Factors and Technology Management (Institut fur Arbeitswissenschaft und Technologiemanagement) IAT of the University of Stuttgart is specialized in the integrated planning, design and optimization of innovative products, processes and structures. Under consideration of human factors, organizational aspects, technological solutions and the environment, the IAT explores and evaluates new concepts of technology management, work organization and work design. New anthropocentric concepts for work organization and work design are explored and tested, and the technical, organizational and social conditions of work processes are analyzed and designed.

During eLISHE project Univ. of Stuttgart IAT developed a sound methodology for the collection and evaluation of relevant material as well as tools for the data collection. University of Stuttgart supported the partner EXODUS during the development of the web portal (especially for the content and navigation aspects) and is also responsible for the methodology for the test of the web portal.

EOMMEX S.A.

The Hellenic Organization of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises and Handicraft S.A., is a non-profit public Organization, operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Development. EOMMEX’s Board of Directors is appointed by the Ministry of Development and consists of representatives from the SME’s sector of the economy. EOMMEX S.A. works for more than 30 years to the promotion and development of Small and Medium Enterprises. Employs an executive staff of 246 experts well versed in the elaboration and implementation of programmes for the modernization and Technological development of SMEs.

EOMMEX’s mission is to provide policy advice to the Greek Ministry of Development on the SME sector, including the formulation of a national SME development strategy and to implement the National Policy in the area of SMEs, through specific actions and programmes (business support measures) to the benefit of the SMEs.

EOMMEX S.A. has focused its activities, on fulfilling following main objectives:
  • Enhancing competitiveness of the SMEs
  • Promoting entrepreneurship and facilitating start–ups
  • Facilitating ICT uptake
  • Contributing to the efforts for simplifying and improving the administrative and regulatory environment
  • Education and training for entrepreneurship
In order to achieve these objectives, EOMMEX S.A. cooperates with the Greek Ministry of Development, the Greek Ministry of National Economy and Finance, the Chambers of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, Organizations and Associations representing the SMEs sector of the economy, the European Commission and the OECD, as well as other institutions dealing with SMEs or undertaking activities similar to those of EOMMEX S.A.

Within eLISHE, EOMMEX is the coordinator and the partner responsible for collecting and evaluating material for the handicraft sector in Greece.

EXA TEAM

EXA TEAM is an SME originated from the spin off of the Project and Development Department of the Training Agency of an Association of SMEs. The group partners worked together designing the strategy of the Training Agency and implementing an intense training/learning activity at regional, national and European level, focusing on lifelong learning, innovation and organisational change. They express different expertises, including all the following fields: design and implementation of complex and integrated learning initiatives, research and testing of new methodologies and tools tailored for SMEs and micro - enterprises development, research in the field of Learning Organisation and its transferability to SMEs, research and field activity in knowledge management and new models for the identification of knowledge basis in micro enterprises, research and promotion in the field of equal opportunities among men and women, networking and implementation of learning networks among SMEs, fund raising and research of opportunities for the development of SMEs competitiveness.

EXA TEAM partners have all been working, and are actually involved, in several projects funded by the European Commission as: TEN TELECOM, INNOVATION, EQUAL, ART.6 of the European Social Fund, Leonardo da Vinci, ADAPT, NOW, LEADER, together with several training activities funded locally by the EFS.

EXA TEAM was also responsible with the other project partners for dissemination of eLISHE related results and supporting the University of Stuttgart in developing the methodology used for the collection and evaluation of relevant material.

EXODUS

EXODUS (http://www.exodus.gr), member of Piraeus Bank - Group of Companies, holds a leading position in the Greek IT market, offering valuable e-business solutions/services to large, medium and small enterprises of the private and the public sector, including the banking sector. EXODUS clientele is mainly located in Greece and consists of major public and private organizations such as the Piraeus Bank Group of Companies, the National Bank of Greece, the Commercial Bank, TIM, the Attica Media Group, Interamerican, Multifin, Tellas, the Public Power Corporation, the Hellenic Railways Organization, the Hellenic Parliament, the Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, Public Administration and Decentralization, etc. In addition, the company has established a strong partnership outside Greece, mainly due to its lasting cooperation with organisations across Europe for the development of European research projects.

Within the eLISHE project EXODUS main contribution is the development of the portal of e-learning products relevant to small and micro handicraft enterprises.

IIMC organises the eChallenges (www.eChallenges.org) and IST-Africa (www.IST-Africa.org) Conference Series. As well as carrying out strategic consulting assignments for government and commercial clients, team members work as technology and business experts with DG INFSO and DG Research of the European Commission, as well as the Research Council of Norway and VINNOVA (Swedish Agency for Innovation Systems).

During the eLISHE project IIMC was responsible for analysing the current state of technology adoption and in particular eLearning adoption within the craft sectors in Ireland and the UK, as well as the availability of eLearning related products and services for the crafts sector in Ireland and the UK. IIMC was also responsible with the other project partners for dissemination of eLISHE related results, supporting the University of Stuttgart in developing the methodology used for the collection and evaluation of relevant material, as well as supporting EXODUS in relation to database, navigation and usability aspects of the design of the web portal.
